I just downloaded this app and it keeps crashing

Stuck on availability. Answering the question does nothing. So buggy its USELESS!

There is no way to view or download files. Whats the point? All you can do is chat, which I could use email for.

Needed this to release payments for completed work, but it doesnt allow for that.

The Upwork app is a refreshing change from most other enterprise apps Ive used that make it hard to communicate and finish basic actions. Think about any time youve used a job searching app to apply and find work. Editing your resume on an app to match a job description? No thank you. :-) Upwork did it differently though and Im glad they did. It actually makes the whole eLance-oDesk merger start to make sense to me. This app seems way easier to use than either of those companies websites before the merger.

If there was a rating of negative 5 (-5), I would gladly assign it. This app is - at the same time - both overloaded with features and misses the most basic of them. In fact, the design is so clumsy and cluttered that one cant even say for sure whether the basic things are indeed missing or lost and cannot be found. For example: 1- I cannot find sent messages. Which people did I email and which did I not, alas, no way to know. Am I supposed to keep email score on a piece of paper? 2- Cannot find declines" (from contractors) in the app inbox (they come to my real email instead). Well, thats smart. Why not send them by snail mail? 3- Non-English encodings dont work correctly (Cyrillic doesnt - for a fact). Why aim to build a global app that addresses global workforce (that, helloooo, speaks many languages) and screw up the encoding at the same time? Hello, are we back to Netscape-IE battles of the 1990s?! Website is the same way -- responsive and super-cute, but super-cluttered and uber-useless. Go try to find anything there, you will get lost in the sea of features. L O S T. Sorry guys. I know you tried. Scrap and try again. I am sure you can do better.

As a heavy user of their website the app is very limited and only useful for the basic tasks such as reading messages

Its a good idea, but I wish you can look for jobs on the app also... That would be very helpful

This app has given me hope to became a Full Time Freelance Designer and work from home. Its a great app!

Cannot search for available jobs. As a remote freelancer, youd think that be a priority. I shouldnt have to find a computer to seek open opportunities.

Just opened the app and doesnt have the basics functions. You cant even browse or search through jobs

A platform for scammers to roam free without any restrictions. This company shouldnt be allowed to exist. So many people get scammed daily its ridiculous and they love it! Do not use this for ANYTHING! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! DELETE NOW! Just trying to be helpful.

I like the concept but the interface and features are too premature and dont really reflect the aim of the Upwork website. I guess the app will go through the innovation motions until they get it right...

The app has a message feature and no other functionality. Its ironic a company that helps you find global labor supply cannot develop a decent app with a good user experience. Perhaps they need to hire some freelancers?!

The app is nice and pleasing to the eye but the fact that I still have to go online to submit to jobs is a little frustrating. Also in the short time I have been online I have run into A LOT of scammers. Its easy to tell the difference when you start talking to these people but UpWork should have some preventative measures to keep these people from posting.

This app is only good for contractors, not good for clients whos looking to hire. Theres no way to see your job listings (as the employer), view applicants, etc... I will wait until UpWork (or someone else) will release an app that is also helpful for employers (clients)
